About CHRISTINASERA

Timeless music is rooted in its ability to inspire, and transport listeners to alternate realities – coloring in the nuances of the artist’s stories in a way that is equal parts captivating and clever. CHRISTINASERA, previously known as Christina Cammarata, is a Pop singer-songwriter who is doing just that. Her enrapturing voice and signature charisma have attracted the likes of One Direction to feature her covers not once, but twice on their social media feed – at just the age of 15.

 

Although based in Orlando, Florida, CHRISTINASERA grew up in a small town just north of Atlanta, Georgia. Her musical roots were nourished from a young age, taking up piano lessons and learning to read sheet music from as early as middle school. She participated heavily in her school’s choirs and joined acapella groups, and it wasn’t long before she was writing her own original material. Her music draws from a wide array of influences – everything from Country, Rock, Alt/Indie, and Blues making its way into her dynamic and varied musical palette.

 

At age 17, her debut EP, ‘Something Big’ was independently released to the world. Impressively, it was recorded in just a single take, with a live band backing her on vocals across a number of her original tracks. Christina took a break from releasing music to focus on her studies, graduating with a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Music Business with specializations in vocal performance and songwriting from the Berklee College of Music. During this time, she was diagnosed with multiple chronic conditions, including dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system (known as POTS) and a connective tissue disorder, Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

 

Now 24, with years of experience and plenty of time to enrich herself with personal growth and knowledge, CHRISTINASERA is focused on finding her “new normal”, growing through her personal pain, while transposing those inner emotions to her own brand of Pop.
